Tarleton State University RELLIS

Beginning Fall, 2018, Tarleton State University proudly begins offering two (2) baccalaureate degree completion programs in conjunction with The Texas A&M University System’s RELLIS Academic Alliance at the newly developed RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas.

The RELLIS Academic Alliance allows multiple institutions within The Texas A&M University System and Blinn College to collaboratively offer selective degree and certificate programs. This paves the way for an innovative education concept, allowing students to obtain bachelor’s degrees from Texas A&M System’s 10 regional universities from around the state without leaving the Bryan campus.

Tarleton’s School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Strategic Studies, a part of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at Tarleton State University, is committed to providing educational opportunities for students and working professionals in the criminal justice and public sector arenas. The School offers the Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Administration on the RELLIS-Bryan campus.

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice is designed to merge academic knowledge with applied experience. The program offers courses that prepare students for career entry or promotion in a variety of criminal justice areas, as well as federal employment and/or graduate study. Faculty integrate textbook material with professional practices, providing valuable insights into the justice system.

The Bachelor of Science in Public Administration equips students with knowledge and skills that cover a wide range of topics and disciplines related to the public sector. Students acquire knowledge about government bodies and agencies, including municipal, state and federal operations in areas such as intergovernmental relations, human resource management, public policy, and budgeting and finance.

Standout features of the Tarleton program offerings at RELLIS-Bryan will include small class sizes, exceptional, qualified faculty and majors in high-demand professions.
